A shep trans and you wont have to look back in the trans department. A evo to run 10's and DD is not a problem, but it will have some quirks. I have a exedy twin, hard mounts and cams like most evo owners and I enjoy it more daily driving over stock. It's all up to the individual what they like and put up with.
