05 mr. goood dd? need some advise

whats up guys. i've been looking into evo's for a while and now im serious about getting one. but i need some piece of mind before i do. i found a good deal on a 05 mr. it only has 37k on it and is all stock. the guy im looking to get it from has had it since 8k and never did anything to it except a clutch at about 29k. he was quick to show me 2 screw holes in steering colum (assuming guage) and inside the dash (assuming reflash)that were there when he got the car. he seems to be a pretty cool guy and i beleive what he was telling me about the car. the car runs and drives great from what i can tell on the pretty long test drive we went on. not looking to mod the car to much. just ur basic tbe, intake, good tune, and may a more efficent fmic and piping. the car will be my dd and i know that general maintinance is kinda pricey and im ok with that (ie clutch, fluids, tires, and so on). but i have been reading some things on acd problems and some brake issues the evo's have had. basicly what im asking for is some advise from some experienced evo owners. i dont have ALOT of money but im not broke so i was wondering if a car like this would be good for a dd? are there alot of non gereneral problems i should be aware of? any help would be greatly appreciated and im looking forward to hearing from you all. thanks again

I've had my stock 04 evo for 10 months and the only maintenance I remember doing is changing the oil. 04's don't have the ACD so I'm not sure what problems the 05's can have with those if any. With only 37k miles you got a ways to go before the next big maintenance check (60k miles). But I haven't had any problems yet with my car it seems pretty reliable and its my DD.

It all depends on how well you treat your car. Some Evos on this forum have 100k-200k on them. So that says ALOT already. Good luck.
