Can these wheels fit Evo VIII?

I have 2005 Evolution VIII, can I put 18 inch wheels 7.5" width, offset 45, wheel pattern 5x114.3, tires 235/40 without having any problems? I know the stock offset is 38 so is this too big of a difference from stock?

Depends on wheel design but most likely yes, it will be a problem.

Its really based on the wheel design, I believe. When I see these types of threads, I just point out my +38 18x9.5 RPF1s do not clear the front calipers without a 23mm spacer (like running a +15 rim) which is no where close to the stock offset yet both just clear by a few mm. You might get more help by specifying the type and manufacturer of rim.

The wheels in questions are Enkei EKM3, here is the link:

Tire rack doesn't show these wheels as they could fit the evo but the wheel distributor which want to sell me these wheels says that they will fit without any problems. So now I am not sure if they will or not.

why put 7.5 when the stock is 8 wide... don't go smaller.

Honestly don't put a 7.5 wheel on the car. Why not get something that fits?? I have a set of tenzo 18s I'm looking to sell cheap with tires not to reuin your thread.

the stock size is 8" wide. it makes zero sense to buy a wheel that is 7.5" wide. that wheel is offered in plenty of sizes that will fit our cars. just get it in 18x8 with stock offset and you'll be fine.

Well I really like the wheel design and I found an excellent price. Would I need to get spacers since the difference in offset is 7 millimeters (0.2756 inches) which is quite large so I assume the wheels would look really tucked in.
Would there be a balance problem since the wheels are half an inch thinner than stock? I don't think so as the tires would be the same 235/40 as with any wider wheel.

If the wheel was 8 inches wide as the stock one, and offset 45 would I need spacers for a proper fit so the wheels don't look tucked in??/
