The dealer cannot void any warrenty unless they can prove your aftermarket part is the cause of failure.

But do you want to pay for lawyers to prove it didn't when they say it did?

You do not want a boost controller on the car if you go in for warranty work. If you put this boost controller in, then make sure you save and DO NOT cut your factory lines, so if you have to take your car in you can take the boost controller part off. The gauge part will be fine, but might be a little suspicious just because they may know that a boost controller came with it and you might have taken it off.

My experience with this first hand came from a 2000 Celica GT I had that threw a rod. I had a intake and exhaust and they tried to tell me that those parts caused the issue. I informed/reminded them of the magnison-moss act and insisted it was something wrong with the car. Month + later then sent a Toyota rep down to look and they fixed it all for free. No lawyers.
