Question Mods that wont void the warranty

I am going to mod my evo, and i want to keep my warranty intact. Are there any mods out there that are effective that will NOT void the warranty. Thanks a lot for any help

depends which dealer you go to. But most will agree a catback system will be ok. Anything else deals with tuning and sensors.

DynoFlash- I've been to the dealer twice without them knowing I have it on the car. If anything does fail on your car, you can ship your ECU out to Al and have it flashed back to stock as a precaution.

Mitsu dealers will void your warranty for ANYTHING. Last time I was there, they voided someone s entire engine warranty for having a bov. Rip them off if you can, because everyone knows they're trying to do the same thing to you.

speaking of stickers...has anyone dyno tested the ralliart emblems for the EVO??? I know on honda's/acura's the Type R sticker was good for 5whp on a dyno while the actual Type R emblem (In red especially) stolen off a real type R was good for at least 10whp.

Interested to see some plots from an EVO, who knows, I'm sure some jackass will prolly put a type R sticker on an EVO.

My dealer says a turbo timer is OK.

They won't give the thumbs up to a basic K&N filter, however...

jesus these guys are strict. maybe ill at another wing on the top of the car for that 100 hp boost. On a side note, my friend told me to get a misfire system for the evo. hahaha no joke. Direct quote "it gets you 100 hp every shift". I just cant tell him otherwise.

Damn, the mitsu dealer I go to installs RnR exhausts out back. You just have to find one thats not as strict and/or get in with the service manager.

it sucks that they do what ever they can to void warranty ... You should ask your local dealer or at least the one that you plan to go to. An to be safe get it on writing , just in case they change their mind about it .
