boost controller and how much psi do you recommend???

boost controller and how much psi do you recommend???

hey guys i want to buy a boost controller but i dont knw what is a good brand what do you guys recomend? also im pushing 18psi on my turbo i herd i can even go up to 25psi without doing inners? im dynoed doing 330whp with basic bolt ons

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
You cannot change boost without retuning.

you can tune your car to go up to 30psi on the stock turbo.

No tune, you risk a lot by just cranking up your boost.

if you up your boost ya you'll have to get a tune. if you go above 25 psi you get to the area where have to change the type of fuel you use or put a meth kit on so you don't get knock.

You can't just up the boost. It depends on alot of other things. All in all you should have the car reflashed regardless of what you turn it up to. It sounds like you already had the car tuned as well which I wouldn't recommend unless you had an MBC. So buy one and have the car retuned at 25-30 psi, you're good to go.

-buy a mbc, a lot of people go with the halman.
-buy a better fuel pump if you have the stock one.
-take it to a good tuner and have them set it in there range of 22-30 where ever your not getting knock.

or you can use the ecu to control boost as well
