Ebay 3M Carbon Weave Fuse/Relay Box Overlays

Those who are on a budget might want to take a look at this item. It is for Evo VIII, Evo IX, Evo X and Ralliart. They are 3M, pre-cut carbon weave overlays, not real carbon fiber obviously, but look really nice. Again, for those not wanting to spend $130+ for the real thing, these would make a nice alternative. Seller was great on communication and shipped out quickly

Ghey. It's so easy to DIY it and a whole roll of 4' x 1' runs $35. Get a roll and cover the whole thing instead of just the top. Even if you somehow mess up time after time after time, you come out ahead.

good luck wraping the whole box and makis it look in any way decent.

if you are so awesome, buy this so called $35 roll and wrap yours, then when it comes out looking perfect, send me pics and ill pay pal you $35 bucks.

and when you are wrong, i will be satisfied knowing that you wasted $35 and what you think is so easy looks like *** because you tried it yourself.

I have two square yards of this stuff at home so I'd be happy to do that. Want me to wrap the fuse box cover? Anything else? Give me a week or so to do it-- busy at work this week.

This "so-called $35 wrap" can be found on www.CarbonFabricSource.com, just like I posted in the thread you've tried to flame me for.

Not flaming anyone for using the stuff (I obviously use it myself), just saying there's a more economical way to do it.

If you want to pay me $20 for these little pieces, give me dimensions for anything on your car, I'll cut it and send to you.

meat Evo,
Here are a few shots, as requested. Not high on the "bling factor", but they get the job done. Will I eventually get the real deal (Rexpeed), yes.
However, for the time being, these will suffice.

my offer stands if you can cover the whole fusebox with your $35 sheet and it looks good. not half decent, but good. So well see how it comes out.

Good luck!

i think it looks damn good, and youd never get a good cover on the sides with all the edges that stick out. the top is the only thing that is smooth and will stick forever.

I'll duplicate the Rexpeed piece since (A) the OP bought these pieces as an economical alternative to that and (B) removing the entire fuse box is obviously a bit ridiculous for this exercise.
