hey, im in the process of replacing my brake pads too. i live in nyc, but for some reason, 2 places i went to and 2 other places i called dont have the lancer brake pads on stock. they have to "special order" them.

anyhow, in buying pads, what should i look for? are there any suggestions for pads good enough for daily driving.

also, are pads specifically made for a specific car? or is there a generic that'll fit more than one car?

pls help. i really dont want to buy the OEM pads that are crap and expensive
