New to the evo scene

Hi, I just bought a 03 evo with 80,000 miles on it... I got it for a good deal.. I have a few things that I need help with.. Is it normal when I'm going fast in it's about to redline it just stops from going past n it stops from accelerating? When I'm slowing down my brakes don't brake hard..can any one help me on what these problems can be. Thanks

welcome to the forums. You've posted your question in the wrong section though. You're in the evo X forum. Please use EVO I to IX section.

What you guys in the X forums to good for us now?

That stopping feeling when you hit red line is probably the rev limiter. Get a tuner or a tactrix cable and check it if your concerned. Also that whole "it feels like my brakes don't brake hard", means its time for new brakes. If you or the previous owner hasn't damaged the calipers you might be able to get by with just a resurfacing of the rotors and some pads.

Cheers
