Stock style turbo or t3 or what?
I'm looking at upgrading my turbo/mani/o2 and I was wondering which way i should go. I've seen people get the black/green/red etc turbos in order to keep their stock manifold, but to me a t3 kit would give me more turbos to choose from. It seems like everyone who has an evo usually goes with an FP turbo. Is it cause it's a straight bolt-on style? I just see turbo kits for tons of money being sold and they are using the stock manifold, which is weird to me.
Besides the fp upgrade turbos, are there any turbos that are stock style that are upgrades not from FP?
I'm just trying to see which way I should go when I order my manifold and o2 housing so I don't have to buy them again. I'm shooting for high 10's on my dd evo 8.
Thanks guys,
Josh

Tomei ARMS, the new HKS 740R or something. For 10's, you'll want either the FP Red, Black, or the newest BBK from CBRD, I forget what it's called. This is if you stay stock frame. If you get a T3 manifold/kit, you can pretty much use any T3 framed turbo.

Ok thanks for the replies.
I think going t3 will be better for me. What companies other than cheap eBay and expensive (to me) jmf, schrear, and br make good manifolds in t3 for evos?
Thanks,
Josh
