i'm not looking to purchase as of right now. i'm referring to a game plan within the next 6 months. looking for suggestions. i know the engine mods above will not yield me 400whp.


easiest would be add injectors and cams to my list.

current mod list:

HKS SSQV BOV (re-circulated for idle)

s2000 antenna
TB vortex generator
oem clutch burnt so:
ACT 3200 extreme clutch
ACT Streetlite flywheel
brakes have been upgraded to db4000 slotted w/hawk hps all the way around

I'm looking for also. HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR 5K? the best way to go through upgrades is seeing what other people have done and would like to do.

for $5,000 i would go with fp green, ported exh mani, ets 3.5 fmic, 272 cams, injectors, walbro and clutch.

first thing id do is ditch the ACT clutch setup....
spend the money and go twin disc and be done with it

thanks for the opinion evo joe. i didn't figure when i purchased what my overall goal was. clutch jobs aren't cheap so i'll ride this one out.


DAILY DRIVER - FAMILY GROCERY GETTER 400WHP - SEXY EVO IX

so everyone trying to flame. great you want to go fast and it's all about engine mods. that isn't my absolute goal. I'm not using it to go the track and do quarter miles every other weekend. I do want to hit the track days but don't intend to do it often.

so though those are your goals and i won't complain about your opinions or assward comments. thanks for your opinion.

26 with 2 kids and a wife in the car. so it's not about getting TOO fast or using TOO much money.

with mods listed even if I end with 360whp i'd be happy.

gsc s2 cams going to require springs and valves right? only s1 stock valve train safe?
