New (to me) Evo8 owner

Hi guys,
Just wanted share that after being an 'inactive' forum member for many years, I finally got myself an Evo8.
It's a full-blown rally car, purpose built from a 2003 UK road car, it is left hand drive however. I recently brought the car over form UK to rally it in US.
I'll share some pictures once the new graphix/sponsor branding (or lack there of) is done.
Cheers.

Well, I was able to do our first outing with the car @ 100AW Rally last weekend in Missouri. We've set top 5 times and were placed 4th overall after starting the car 26th! Car seemed to be very fast out-of-the-box with the recent modifications we've had made (open class specifications).

And yes, I hit the rear of the car and lost some pieces in the rear the first night. 2nd day I went off again and damaged the front-end, resulting with a DNF. But very encouraging stage times for the rest of the rally-america season. I'm hopeful that we will be on the podium, sticking it to the Subaru team guys very soon

And some on here worry about a little water going through the hood vent.

That shot is sweet, I wish I had another Evo to do something like that with. Well, that and a lot of money.

I'm using a kevlar skid plate which also covers the bumper - the whole lip, but it's made for Evo IXs,; so I had to change the front bumper.
