Awesome build thread. I like the SCC mag-I have almost 10 years worth of this awesome publication in storage. In fact, the issue you have pictured (Oct. 2007) sits on a shelf in my living room now. It's truly unfortunate that it had to go.

Back to your build: I admire your determination in this long process. I saved up for almost an identical project, but never bought a single part. I got scared and bought an VIII instead.

Thanks for the feedback! That's my favorite issue of SCC. As you can probably tell, I've read through it alot! I was sad to see such a great mag go, but Modified is doing a good job of filling the gap SCC left behind. Yeah, this project isn't for the feint of heart, that's for sure. I think it'll be worth it when it's done though, this will be the most complete 2 door CN9A conversion I've seen aside from the one pictured on the first page. If you ever think of trying the project again and have some questions, shoot me a pm!

 

Half cut and AWD stuff will be here Monday according to the shipping company! Hopefully there's no issues with
the weather. I need this thread moved out of the newbie section lol. This is definitely not the stuff of newbies.

The car itself is still were it was since I installed the new suspension. The weather doesn't really make for good picture
taking at the moment. I'll have pics of the new parts up Monday or Tuesday though!

 

Cut showed up yesterday just late enough I couldn't do a thing to it! Oh well, it's here now anyway! I did get to snap a few pics though! Everything important looks to be in pristine shape! Can't wait to start swapping parts over!

More good news! I had originally thought the front lip was broken, but it seems its just a little scratched. One less thing to replace! I have to get an Evo 4-6 fuel tank to swap in, and then I'll be set to start the conversion! I may go ahead and do the body work, we'll see.

 

you should really make a new thread with a title that gives you more respect for what your actually doing.
