Yeah I'm gonna go check out and test drive the 9 today. We'll see how things go.

 

Ok just had a thought about the evo 9....I just called the dealership and he said that the carfax has an accident earlier this year on it. The priceof the car is unusually low especially for a dealership, and he's saying there was an original owner, then these guys bought this car from another dealer. Which makes me think, this car could have been salvage title and then the title was cleared from trading it around, i believe 3 or more times clears the title. Maybe i'm overthinking it lol. He said it was rear ended, new rear bumper, and quarter panels and all that.

06 Evo with 30k miles and a lot of nice mods for 23k OBO (it's KBB "good" condition is 22.5k, stock).

 

I need to get one from a dealer. That one does look nice tho.

So...just checked out that evo 9 today. I am thoroughly disappointed. It has an extrememly loud tick, the miles are high which i knew already, the guys seemed like unknowledgeable ******, it slammed into gear really nasty in the rear, and thats weird because it was rear ended, and it was only boosting 1.1 bars max, which is like what 15-16 psi? Gay. Looking for another 9 now, but i want a bone stock one. that or i want the 03 i posted.

 

Gonna check this one out tomorrow. A much more reputable place and the service over the phone was fantastic, also this car is flawless just expensive they said they're willing to negotiate though.

Is it so you can finance it? If so, why not just get a car loan from a local credit union?

You can get much better deals with private sale (person can even hook you up with taxes )

 

It's my dad's preference. I'm 18 and don't have the credit myself to get any type of loan. My dad has...eh...credit and my mom has good credit but won't help me out. So my dad said it would be easiest for him to work it out with a dealership.
