Its there, I can see it in the second pic, top left hand corner.
Also in the first pic, directly to the right of where the boost controller is in the pic. Im assuming you have an 8?

The DIVERTER VALVE as it is called in a recirc setup is in the red circle. It is commonly refered to as the blow off valve, either term is considered correct.

Awesome guys, thanks a ton.

Yeah it is an Evo 8 - I am now trying to figure out the exhaust kit brand, and what exactly it is , it was advertised as "full exhaust kit" A friend said he thinks he sees a downpipe but isnt sure.

make sure you have a decent boost gauge if you are running the MBC to make sure it is not turned too high.

there are two boost gauges, a double pod with the wideband a/f and a boost above the steering wheel (replaces the stock cover) and then what i think is the evo9 stock gauges (3 pack labeled mitsu motors) under the thermostat controls -

What should the boost be? Anyone familiar with that type of BOV? it appears to be nameless ...

Your BOV is stock and your boost should be set to whatever the car is tuned for...dont want to go cranking that thing up and cause some real damage
