hey fellas im still lookin for a good evo, i ran across a 2006 apex silver evo 9, 114,000, bbs wheels, new tires, in dash navigation, super clean and original owner...anyway hes asking 14500 may can talk him down a little. My question is jump on it or let it go i'll be driving 100 miles so milage doesnt really matter and if it breaks ill just mod it. any input appreciated.

 

Kind of in the same boat pay less for more miles or spend more for less miles. Don't think you'll find a 9 for that price ever right now so if it's in good condition jump on it.

 

yea i think i will, its all stock also its a MR so i'll just have to check everything out really good, transmission and all, but it seems like a good deal.

 

personally I'd rather pay more and get a car with low miles and not worry as much about having to replace stuff

a little update fellas, talked to the guy alot today and we settled on 13,800, he has all original documents, window sticker, documentation of maintenance, clutch was replaced at 65,000 i think ima go get it monday. i got the vin if anyone thats a dealer or something could run it for me i'd really appreciate it. thanks.

That is a really low price tag... Hopefully there are no issues with it. I would have it checked out by a good mitsu mechanic before signing off on it. Just my .02

 

Just know that in 6k or so your looking at a timing component job. Parts alone are 5 bills and I've seen labor go from 200-500 to do the job.

Not too hard to DIY if you take your time though
