Very very new. I have questions though.
Hi there to everyone. I am new to this forum and very new to cars in general. Haha I know you will all laugh, being the tard I am and the car I own but, I was wondering what would I need to do to build a Lancer Oz rally 2006 into a drifting car? I would like to try and avoid buying a new car all together cause I do want this to be a project. A feew friends and I wanna try this and wanna have fun with it. just let me know everything I would have to do... and umm I mentioned I am very new to the whole car world so I don't understand a lot of engine stuff...
so please do keep it easy for a tard haha.
Oh yeah and to make things WAYYYY way way better... My car is an auto lol.
But I dont care what I would have to do to rebuild this car ( if that makes sense ) we just wanna have fun and learn some stuff.
Oh and I do know that this car is nothing compared to most cars I mean it is good for what it is but you know what I'm trying to say
So yeah sorry if I went a head and made myself sound like an idiot ( I am good at that ). Thank you

(oz rally is not the same thing as oz drift)
Your car is fwd (front wheel drive) so pretty much anything that could be considered "drifting" is out of the question.
Drifting needs rwd (rear wheel drive)
If you're really serious about drifting something, get a cheap 240sx, 350z, I'm sure you'll even be happy with a mustang, and take it from there.
Sorry, and good luck.

Buuuut if you really want to go down that route, intake and header-back exhaust is usually the normal start.
Just know you will probably be what's known as a ricer and be picked on by almost every car when they see/hear your exhaust.
I was there once when i was 16 with my 160 HP Talon, and trust me, it's not fun.

Personally i would just get it tinted, rims, and maybe an intake and leave it at that.

Lol I. Saw my friend try that in his tahoe. I don't know how it didn't occur to him that it wouldn't work haha. Melted the tray to the pavement lol
