questions about the ride

So I swinged by the dealer today and took it for a spin.
I'm not sure why you ppl ***** about how stiff it is, it's not much worse than my 6-speed Accord just ALOT more noisy

Now I'm wondering is the brake pedal is so stiff in all cars or was it only the one I drove? I had to press on it as if it doesn't have servo.
Clutch and shifter are great and I love the sound

To all you with the black ones.... how does the AC work in summer? Is it able to cool the car down?
My Accord is white and I have to wear a coat if I crank the AC so that's why the stupid question.
Thx

im sure the AC works in the summer just as well as any other time of the year. and i would imagine it keeps the car just as cool as any other car with AC.

I am in Atlanta and the AC works okay, Good not Great. I am going to tint the windows to help, I think the 4 bangers have a h ard time with AC, V6's always seem to work better.

I too used to have an Accord, 01 V6 and the AC was awesome in that car. Comparing the two, it does take a little longer for the air to cool in the EVO, but it will chill you down eventually. But the AC in the Accord is colder in general.

Well, I was concerned about the AC in an Evo because it looks like I'll pick up a black one (only color I can get a good deal for) and the difference between black and white can be huge. So I was curious about how the AC works and if any folks with black Evos had problems during summer because here in NJ it can get naaaaasty.
Btw. used to have a 98 4cyl Accord and that thing wouldn't cool down if you begged for it

Oops, did I not mention I have a black EVO? I live in SoCal and this past summer got close the mid 90's, but I'm sure the east coast humidity plus the heat is another story. The AC was sufficient for the hot weather here, like I said in the last post, it does take a little time for the air to cool, but it will get you nice and comfy within five mins.

No problem, and congrats on your purchase. You'll enjoy it very much. Just make sure you break it in before you really start enjoying it.
