1. It all depends on what you want to accomplish/goals.

2. If you have the funds for it, TBE is the way to go which provides more air flow as oppose to only catback.

If ya search, there should be a lot of info on stage 1 mods and whatnot. GL!

Well, those who are price conscious and like to take it one step at a time and do it right, they just do the catback and a test pipe or a HFC. They do not do the Downpipe unless they are also swapping turbos.

If you're going to be working on the car yourself, you're gonna save a LOT of time and frustration by not doing the down pipe if you're not also doing the turbo. If you're getting the installation done at a shop, you'll save money. I say this because when you do your turbo swap, that is when you should do your DP also, because it makes it easier and you do not have to go through the same hassle twice. Also, the stock DP flows well until about 375 to 400 whp depending on the type of dyno. Changing the DP or turbo on the X is a biatch and you should only do it if necessary.

Just do a catback and testpipe/hfc for now and see how you like it. For now, that is all you really need. A turbo back (Catback +downpipe) should only be done if you're going bigger turbo etc.

Hope that helps
