Unless the car is garaged, I wouldn't take my vents off. People can mess with your engine parts.

Took mine off. Id assume its better on for aerodynamics and better off for cooling. I just didnt like it and Ive had no problems....

mine has been off for about 2 years now , it was even sold to me like that so more than likely longer than that and well i have had no problems.

Mine has been off for 4yr now with (Ram Style) RnR Ceramic exhaust manifold and GT35R with no problems. Helped alot with cooling.

mine's been off for about a year. it doesn't fit on the carbon fiber hood right and was rubbing the valve cover, taking the paint off.

I like it on.. I have seen some people take it off and polish it to a buff finish. Looks ok.. But i like it in black better.

took it off, got water in one of my spark plugs and had to change out that plug and clean that entire part out. there really is not a point in taking it off, the vent allows air to flow in and heat to flow out anyway, u get enough air through the front grates in the bumpers, and if u dont have an undertray which most evos dont ur getting air through there also.
