First Evo finally

Hey guys, been around here asking alot of questions about Evo's trying to decide which to get. After much deliberation I decided that a 2006 Evo IX MR suited my needs the best. I've never enjoyed a car as much as I'm enjoying this one. I've owned 95 Z28(upon graduating highschool), RSX Type-S boosted to 16psi, Pontiac G8 GT, Saturn Sky Redline (still own it), and now my Evo. Granted I'm 29 years old and these are sports cars I've owned.

First thing I'm going to Mod is the clutch. I'm a fan of making my cars durable before modding power. I won't do any HP mods till next spring I think because winter is coming soon in Ohio.

Anyways, good to finally be part of this family. Been wanting an Evo since 2004 when I entered the import scene but couldn't afford one.BTW I drove almost 500 miles to get a good deal on mine.

Some pics.....

Beside my uncle's twin turbo charged 2002 SS Camaro. 796whp/787ft.pds.tq.

Congrats on the new car! The Evo is by far the most well rounded car I have ever owned, and even after 5 years of owning it, I still look forward to driving it every day.

Will be looking at something that can hold 400+whp but at the same time I don't want the pedal stiffness to go up at all. A motorcycle left my left leg jacked up and the stock clutch pressure is fine, but any more than that and I'll be driving in pain, which I deffinetly do not want. My goal for this car is to get in the 11's in the 1/4mile. Will be my daily driver for at least the next few years. Maybe then I'll shoot to get faster than 11's.

Paid 20.3k otd. Has 44k miles on it. Was the best deal I could find the eastern side of the US. I had been looking for about 3 months now.

Wow that's a really good OTD price (including sales tax, registration, etc) on a IX! Congrats on the pick up!
