Best driveable in rain tire for high HP Evo?

What's the best tire out there for a high HP Evo that might get stuck in the rain once in awhile? It's making 636WHP on 'low' boost, and 760 on high boost (boost by gear, 636 in 2nd and 760 in 3rd). It currently hooks the 636 setting fine on 225 Bizzack snow tires, just curious if there is something better. Haven't driven it on high boost yet..

Why do you have snow tires on your 600whp Evo? Second, pretyt much any tire will be good in the rain if you drive smart, unless they're bald of course or r compounds...

anyways, to answer the original question there are plenty of good choices. stick to something 255 or narrower and a or aa traction rated. more info would help. stock wheels? plan on drag racing? autocrossing? want performance or comfort? etc.

why such a small tire all together? IF you are looking for a decent tire that is affordable i would go with the dunlop durezzas. if you are running stock rims (depending on suspension setup) i would go with something like 255 - 40 - 17 or something to that nature...

Also you think for an Evo that may get stuck in the rain here and there wet traction would not be a huge issue when shopping for a tire to hold that caliber of power down...Then again, thats just my opinion.

I don't know the best tire, I have no real experience with a 600HP Evo, and I don't launch my car. The only thing that I can say is that Hankook V12s on my Evo deliver the best wet-weather performance I've experienced to date. You can decide whether this is relevant to your situation. Good luck.

You realize that he uses the Blizzaks to launch in a straight line, right? A tire with a stiff sidewall like the Star Spec wouldn't necessarily make for the better option.

Or he could just invest in a set of drag radials for the track, and dd a falken rt615, or star spec....But something tells me this low boost 6xx whp Evo doesn't exist.
