I just want to let all the members on here who live in Florida that are looking to purchase an Evo. DO NOT buy used Evo from R.C Hill Mitsubishi in Deland. They have the worse beated up evos. I thought my dream was coming true today after taking a 4 hours trip to that place, they have listed a WW 2006 Mr for sale. Well...the story is that the car is still in service and they already put it up for sale. I...of course called them before I went, then when i got there...they told me the tech is doing fluids changed, inspection bla bla bla. I went inside and looked at the car and the salesman told me the aftermarket turbo is being swapped out for the stock one...I was like WTH???? They said they just want to put it back to stock then again i was like WTH???? Are they kidding me? Never heard of such a thing like that. Would they put more money into a used car??? They also have another 2003 WW evo, it has been there for awhile and it was ALSO in service. The 2006 Evo was tuned by Jester Tuning in Florida, i saw a cable coming out from the glove box, not sure whether it was hooked up to the ecu. I called Jester Tuning, they said they would tell me what tuning was done to the car if I can get the previous owner name....they are very nice ppl. I'm sure the car gonna have many problems if i bought it. So members on here beware if you do get one. What do you guys think???

Hmm, i order a few of my oem parts from there website as they have decent prices for oem mitsu parts. I also know a few guys that have had there cars tuned at Jester in orlando and they were very pleased with them. Maybe the cars were ok... you didn't get to drive either one correct?

 

Tons of sellers put their cars back to stock before selling, its definitely not unheard of.

 

yea that goes for pretty much any "molested" car, you just never know who worked on it, what they did, DIDNT do, and if they even knew what they were doing, never heard of a used car place swapping out turbos, LOL, usually places only care that the car is complete and is running right, smells like fish

 

Yes, i tested drove the 06 Mr one. Here is the thing...the mechanic told me he was swapping turbo. The sales manager told me the exhaust manifold was replaced because it has crack. Everyone telling me different thing, I'm sure if any of you was me, you would be like wat the hell. The car drives fine but....here is the thing they are asking for 26700 out the door lol. Anyone would buy it for this price, btw it has 50k miles on the odometer. They even told they have 5 or 6 ppl coming to see the car, one from Alabama, and one of them agreed with the 26xxxk. Why would they called me back and told me that since they already have someone buy it for that price.

Most of us already know their BS sale tactic, well which is a joke because do they even get tired from repeating the same old stuffs everyday. Come on, it's old.
