best diverter valve for 30 psi

I was considering a Synapse *diverter valve but wanted to check in with you guys before I made that move. Are there any stand outs when it comes to dv's on evo IX

Get the Tial QR. It is the last BOV you will ever need for any turbocharged car. Tial is a proven platform, shown to hold as much boost as you can throw at it. With interchangeable springs you can dial it in even if you change your engine setup. If you ever go SD you can just change the base collar to have it VTA, so it can do either or if you just buy an additional base.

Well worth the money.

I'd do with the newly realesed synapse without the bs of changing springs and what not. I believe they test it up to to 60 psi too.

I had the APS and you had to do a bunch of tricks to get it to hold boost, and even then it wouldn't hold up to my 37psi spike. You should use pipe thread tape to tape the adjustment screw, and it needs to be cleaned too.

My only problem with the synapse is the multi port setup. They are problematic unless setup correctly, and I have even read of some people having issues with them on ECU boost due to constant boost correction by the 3-port. Will have to find a link to where I saw that though...

if u are referring to the synapse bov that uses 2 vacuum ports and 1 boost source, that bov can now be purchased as a 2 vacuum port only valve and u can have the 3-port converted to 2 port. I did this to mine which use to be a 3-port that ran ok but not great. Now it runs perfect with no bucking etc.... also no flutter etc...

Anyway he was asking about the new DV not the old BOV that i have. the DV is just a 2 port vacuum source valve.
