Question!

I looked around but wasn't sure. Let me know what you guys think. Is it better to run the WG off the Mani or off of the 02 Housing? Which is more beneficial or is it just preference? Thanks!

All depends on your setup and what you buy. Give people more details and they'll be able to give you better answers.

Well for my Laser I have an FP Green, Buschur FMIC, HKS 272's, etc etc etc... And my WG is off of my Mani. So was just curious as to what others have heard or know or works best for them!

External is preffered because not only is the evacuation port your choice of size (35, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 50, 60 mm+...) but you get to position where preturbo you want to put it, recirc or not recirc, and can load it with any spring of your choice. They are also less fragile (in my opinion) compared to a little tin can with a stick hanging out of it.

Yes, external wastegates are always better, but the cost/benefit of running an external wastegate on a low boost system just isn't very favorable. Boost control on an internal wastegated turbo shouldn't be a big issue, unless you are running a very small turbo. Internal wastegates, for the most part, have very modest flapper sizes of aywhere from 25mm - 30mm that i've taken note of. If you have a large motor and a baby flapper, formally introduce yourself to boost creep.
