It would be a PITA to install the JDM climate control. You'll have to source a lot of the electrical HAVC parts. If you're up the challange, go for it.

lol everyone says search but the orbital kit hasn't been availiable for what seems like years, the galant swap is by far not as easy as people make it out to seem and there is alot of soldering on the wiring harness, if there is no wire cutting involvedon the swap just sourcing all the parts it should be worth it, it would be a pain in the *** to do it but how many guys have swaped out their engines and transmissions.... would be pretty hard to do the swap but i would love to see someone do it..

The evos overseas are so much better than the ones they sold here, interior wise

@ BBS no need to get all ****. I did search buddy. Seen the orbital kit but a lot commented that it don't look as good. Seen Galant swap but no extensive write up dealing with wires matching them. Quit being a Dick if u dnt have nothing to say that's worth posting please don't post.

Like others said the JDM swap is WAY to much work, unless you're into those things.

Lots of good info here and what I did (mine is on page 7):

yea i think it would be worth it to do the jdm climate control mod, may be expensive may be extensive but i think in the long run it is worth it,, a friend of mine is over in japan he said a guy he works with shipped his us evox over with him,,, he was kinda bummed bc he sold his evo8 due to the fact, he didn't think he would be able to take his, anyways if i was there, i would do this swap, among other things and wouldn't look back

I'm not sure how to get a hold of the JDM/AUD/European models A/C unit. Does anyone actually have a way to get these parts? I think the install would be worth it because of how good I think it looks.
