No its not. I just had mine replaced cause I smashed it (was avoiding a deer and evo met side of mountain) and it was ~$2,000.

If someone is looking to buy their first evo how can/what do you check for? Would you want to jumper and check for codes always?

All 3 lights illuminated can be caused by numerous codes. What happened to me was the acd pump failed at about 30k miles. It can also mean your tires are uneven meaning all 4 are not the same brand therefore, tread patterns are different and it trips the acd code. Also, if the clutch was recently replaced the acd could need to be reset.

Reason I say that is because some codes dont pop up. It can be a car almost trashed.
What the heck does buying a used EVO have to do with buying salvaged parts JEEZ man calm down.

take a look at the battery, the fuse can be damaged. the acd pump gets its power from the battery and if the fuse thats connected to the PLUS part of the battery is blown, all three lights will show up.
