Question single din DVD player that sticks out

im looking for a single din dvd player.
it will be in the "radio relocation" location so it has to stick out far enough for it to flip out normally.

does anybody know which dvd player sticks out far enough to give it its clearance?
or do you guys make modifications to the mount itself to stick out?

thanks

any dvd player will fit you just have to modify the bracket to come out longer. I think when the screen retracts it will stick out to far to look normal.

Easiest thing to do, is go down to Mitsubishi dealer and order a set of the Mounting spacers used in the EVO IX MR to mount the gauges down there, they will space out ANY dvd player and make it work in that spot. The brakets will mount exactly where you need the dvd to be, then you just use your stock brackets from your radio and mount those to the MR Gauge brackets. If you need any help with this just shoot me a PM, This way you dont need to make anything custom and no headaches, plus they cost about 12 bucks with the screws and everythying.

thanks

Kenwood KVT 696 is what I have and it flips up fine with no modifications to the mounting brackets. Only need the relocation spacers people mentioned. Looks like that is the model (or similar) in the picture.

I'm sure any of the mitsubishi parts website have them, just gotta go through and search in the parts, or call your dealer to get the part number then order it online.
