My evo when I drop 3rd gear nuturalizes

When I drop into 3rd it nuturalizes and some times on 4th...

I then shift back to 5th gear or 2nd gear and its normal some times.

This is so weird and complex.

3rd gear use to grind! and 4th is hard to put into some times

I cant I am outside the USA.

I talked to a guy like shep and told me its my slider, synchro and fork to change them.

Will do this with 3rd and 4th gear.

It doesnt pop out of gear so the gear it self its fine.

does it grind going into gear? Sounds like your syncros are gone. Did you see metal shavings on the magnet (drain plug) when you changed out the fluid?

3rd only grinds

a shop did the liquid change for me.

However I was told the gear is fine because it never pops out of gear. (only 3rd grinds though)

I ordered

3-4 FORK
3-4 Synchro
3-4 Slider

Hopefully this fixes the problem

synchros are so cheap if i was you i would replace them all while i'm in there or soon you might be at it again. Before your fluid change did you have this problem? I would either use amsoil or oem diaqueen in the tranny.
