EVO to STi back to EVO

Figured Id stop in and introduce myself. My name is Wes and I live in Vegas and it sucks. I owed a EVO 9 for about a month until I heard a ticking noise comeing from the engine area, it only had like 50 miles stil breaking it in. I go back to the dealer where I bought it from and they basicaly said sucks for you, pay to get it fixed. I told them to shove it,got my down payment back, walked across the stret and picked up a 07 STi. I just recently sold the STi, loved the car but wanted to go for a EVO. Ill prob be picking up a EVO 8 in July, need to save more money so I can pay cash.
I have no pics of the STi, but Il put up a mod list anyway.

It was not injector tick, trust me, way worse. I met the guy that bought the EVO after I gave it back, he said the engine blew at 3k miles but didnt know the reason why. I got rid of the STi due to unemployment, then wouldnt you know it, the next day I got a new job.

Because that sounds like it has a lot done to it. To get the Evo to that point your going to spend twice as much as you got selling the car...Whenever a car is modified you never get your money back out of it.

Although you have a point in your statement, you point is invalid in this situation. If you actually read his mod list, you'll realize that the only performance parts he really had where a boost controller and piping. The blow-off valve is minimal.

In terms of performance he would be better off in the Evo, as Evo's gain much more power from minimal mods than STi's do.

I never once mentioned performance mods? Performance bolt ons are penies compared to suspension mods and cosemetic mods, if done right. Regardless, I have learned from buying things, modding them then selling them, that you loose un Godly ammounts of money doing this.

They wouldnt warrenty it, they said i bet on it. Yes the EVO9 was brand new. I sold the car for 23k and parted it out, it was al stock when I sold it. When I sold the STi, out of parts plus the money left after I paid it off, I made a little over 10k.
