Acd

hey guys i got a question. I drove a 2005 Evo yesterday n holy smokes that thing is FAST!!! Neck breaking FAST!!. Anyway i noticed that the ACD lights on the instrument panel all lights were lit: Tarmac, Gravel, Snow. The car has some mods done i can tell a CBE, coilovers, B.O.V., turbo manifold n cold air intake from what i noticed. My question is can this be reset to work properly?

check the fuse on the battery cable. If not that then you might need a ACD pump

check simple things first, real low fluid level with throw all three lights,

also if a clutch was installed recently and the acd wasn't bled that can keep all three lights on

bleeding procedure is easy, have some one crack the bleeder screw on the transfer case while another person holds the gas pedal to 100% throttle and turn the key to on but do not start you will hear the pump come on and fluid will start flowing once you get a solid stream close the bleeder and then top off the reservoir.

hope that helps

You should have a code to read in the ECU for it. I dont remember if you can get the lights to blink the code...Gotta search for that one cause Ive never had a problem with mine.

Warning though, the pumps are known to go bad and they aren't a cheap replacement.
