the SSQV, or the Greddy Type S are my Favs, and both my friends have them on theirs..
I have a Imitation Turbonetics Type 1 that got donated to me, and that sounds okay, but nothin on the Greddy BOV

I have the Greddy Type S recirculate BOV, first I noticed a little difference, it holds boost more than stock and makes a little sound like bird chirp. And when I get the RMR airfilter, it is so damn loud, but it makes a weird flutter sound when it is in low boost. I guess I have to adjust it softer a little or maybe take out the small spring inside the BOV as the guy (Foote) mentioned in the forums.

Yeah that flutter is compressor surge... common to Greddy but can be adjusted out... i even had to remove the spring on my setup as the valve is just to much. But if you want the best i believe it is the way to go as you should never be able to outgrow it!

Yep, loosen the Spring, and it'll stop.. the spring is too tight, and the bov isnt opening
Man.....I just tried to adjust it softer, but it seems like it didn't do anything. The adjustment bolt was so loose now and easy to fall out. Anyone know how to adjust it? I thought all you have to do is loosing the bolt.

Yeah now you have to adjust the vlv but atleast now you can... for me it was about 5 and 1/4 turns on the vlv... still opens at around 10" of vacuum and sounds great. No surging and the hard pulls shift way easier. It's like it was meant to be!
You meant I have to adjust it softer or harder? I didn't do any adjustment beside taken out the spring. It was adjusted softer all the way already, I can't make it softer anymore. Again, it still has some flutter sound when it's cold.
