How do you use a boost controller?

So im new to this whole turbo & boost thing..but i wanna put a boost controller on my car *Evo IX MR*. . . so how do you use a "GReddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller"?

For a IX skip the fancy electronic boost controllers and either use a simple MBC or an ECU-controlled 3-port BCS.

The profec Spec B is pretty complicated. I had it in my 240sx. I'd just go with a MBC as well. There is a write up on how to use the Spec B on here I think.

Get a tuner who knows what they are doing so they can chage your fuel/afr maps to work with the unit you have. You can install it but DONT TURN UP BOOST WITHOUT TUNING OR YOU RISK SOME EXPENSIVE FAILURES.
