Want an Evo, can't find the right one? Advice?
We are probably going to be selling our 2004 Evo this spring. We have had it for a year and a half. Brought it up North from Atlanta in Sept. 2009. Has about 50,000 miles on it currently. Had the transmission rebuilt 1 year ago and an Exedy stage 1 clutch put in at that time. Does need a transfer case rebuild at the moment, its whining. Should have the transfer case rebuilt/replaced in the next month. Other than Tien lowering springs, pretty much stock. Looking to get about $18-$19k after the transfer case is fixed. Clean title, not salvage.
So, if you can scrape up another $3-4k, I know you can get the car that your looking for.

Good Luck in your search.
A stock one will be hard to come by, I only know of a few around me. But they barely drive the cars.
Just remember to price in all of the maint expenses with the purchase.
These cars last when you take care of them.
