Opinion on this evo for sale
^That one looks like a good deal.
The silver VIII has a reconstructed title, but the price (16.5k) seems right for what looks like an otherwise good car. I doubt your financial institution would let you finance a car with a compromised title though.
There are TONS of good ones out there. If you go with a dealership, make sure it's a reputable one. I did, and I have no regrets.
I'd suggest traveling to get one. NEVER settle on a car like an evo.

I bought VIII through a
dealership. I was a bit lucky. The previous owner traded it for a X. He did a good job taking care of it. He was military and didn't drive it much. It had 30K miles on it. The only thing I'd do differently is pay a lower price for one that just had a "complete timing belt job" as well as all the services done (or demand the dealer do it) with 60K miles on it.
Also, I've been in your situation before and I felt rushed to get a car ASAP. That is the worst condition to buy a car. IMHO buy one this month or next month or the month after that. Buy one when you find the right one, including color, miles, condition, etc. Honestly, I wish I waited a little longer, bought a IX, and paid cash. I'd like to put my monthly payments to upgrades in my car. Lesson learned.

Well im working with a dealership thats already ran my credit through tons of banks and i got approved but were trying to find a decent one thats 2004 and newer and $20-23k. They said that they could go through a private seller but i guess most people dont want to sell their cars to dealers. So any help would be appreciated, i live in Federal Way if anyone of you are familiar with the area.
Never finance through a dealership for a used car. Go to your local bank with the best auto rates and get preapproved. (current rates are as low as 3.54% used.) then go find a car..
