New EVO VIII owner!

Hey everybody. I just picked up a 2003 Silver EVO with 48K miles, super clean and mostly stock except for a Burscher Racing (sp?) catback and Exedy Stage 2 clutch. I love how responsive this car is and handling is great!

I did have a few questions though! Maybe someone can help.

1. What clutch are people running for a good DD option, that will still handle some power? I was thinking of a single carbon disk setup. I can't stand grabby clutches! I will be getting rid of this Exedy Stage 2 Clutch soon!

2. What's the best intake for our cars? I've seen a lot, but want to get something that is nice and makes the best power. What about those CAI boxes/Enclosed air intake box? Anybody have any experience with those?

3. What is the easiest way to tune? I read a little on the tuning forum..but so many options. How can I control fuel/timing, remove egr, etc, the easiest way?

4. I want to do exhaust housing/TBE, what are some good options? I was also thinking of 3.5" or 4" catback exhaust option. Any body have any ideas?

Thats all for now I think!! Glad to be here!

what's wrong with the clutch right now? I have all the mods you just mentioned but on stock clutch and it's holding fine on a DD....

It's really grabby/notchy..so possibly it wasn't installed correctly or stock flywheel wasn't surfaced probably...OR that's just how they are. I was thinking about putting a stock clutch back in it. You drive your's everyday? How is the stocker holding up?
