a soon to be mitsubishi tech had asked me at a local meet. "do you want to turbo your lancer?" i ask wat kind of turbo you have? he replies "oem evo 8." right next to me was my evo 8. smh.

 

I am a recent proud owner of a red 2005 mitsu evo MR, have had it for only 3 days. So far, I had people just refer my car as a lancer and can never find it in their database. Had my little sister's friend, about 12, say that a mustang and a camaro can beat my evo.
Told him to stick to his hot wheels.

 

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.

 

I tell people the only thing faster than an Evo is a 350z...it's the faster car ever made...

 

Someone just asked me last week if that was a STi and they pointed at my car...

My son's friend asked why my radiator was so low and if it was falling out... I took him for a ride and 'explained' the ins and outs of turbo power.. I now own his favorite car ever

 

People always ask me why my fenders are a different color silver from the silver my car... (they're not)

The way the sun hits the car it makes the silver on the fenders look lighter because they're so much further out from the rest of the car as I'm sure you've all noticed.

I usually just tell them "because racecar."

 

stranger: "Why did you put that big wing on it?"
myself: "It came stock"
