^^ LOL I can't wait to see the updated news. I really don't think it's not going to be any less reliable depending on how he treats it.

I meant over the 250K... obviously in 3k the world wont end unless he decides to start off roading the car. I just bought an 125k o3 evo 8 FYI.

Haha, okay, gotcha.

Nice, good luck with the car. I now know a lot more people looking at higher mileage evo's. I always tell them don't be afraid.

Subscribed - wondering on the longevity of a high mile evo. Can't be any different than any other Mitsubishi if properly maintained.

I'll post pics as soon as it arrives. Doing my part to support the high mileage joints.

I love high mileage DSM's/EVO's.

I just bought an 03 LY today, and my 91 TSi has 153k and runs better than showroom quality, with a full autoX setup and 20 psi. God bless Mitsu.

As long as proper maintenance is performed and the car hasn't been abused they last for a very long time. The Evo is a durable car. I'm at 130,000 miles with original everything, motor, transfer case, transmission, differential, etc. I've had cams, TBE, and tune since the mid 30Ks and an after market clutch since the 40Ks.

Not sure if you're referring to 4RETECH or myself, however, I'm the original owner.
