As I did on the subie community and forums, I'm new and want to trade my sti for an evo of equal value. So I'll be reading and doing lots of research here as well as try to have a great time. Someone once said, "The grass on the other side is much greener." Heheh, I love my sti but I get bored of it easily, as all my previous cars...so its time to make the switch

Even though you didn't ask any ???? in your original post.... I went from an 07 STI to an 06 Evo IX,..... best car purchase decision I have made. Do it, you won't regret it. The Evo and STI might compete on paper but in stock form and mod-for-mod, I would take the Evo all day long.




Although DCCD is a nice feature.

 

i hadnt messed with the dccd, only flicked through it once to make sure it works lol. but yah i been a lurker for a while. i guess before i bought my sti, it was either sti vs evo, but i told myself i'd go with whichever one pops up first and i could get a good deal. my heart wanted an (evo) but my brain told me to get the sti, since im a little biased, had a wrx before so thought it would be sweet. its not bad but def not a track beast!

I can take a stock evo or higher mileage, as most these days are mild-built. Never a clean stock one anymore. No one really wants to trade there evo for and sti, its kinda downgrading but I will just sell it then buy an evo somehow after saving a lil cash. And no I wouldnt keep 2 of the same cars lol, there alike yet very different machines.
