that's coool...I know you said you want to learn more about evo's but, One of the biggest things you should know and maybe do know is that maintenance is not cheap! And they require a LOT of TLC not like subies LOL.

 

My advice is read about these cars ask questions also. You will enjoy driving them as we all do.
What color do you plan on picking up ?

If u like an evo 8 get evo 9 with evo 8 front bumper! Than you will still have the mivec motor!

Definitely consider the fact that insurance will not be cheap as well.

 

Or get an Evo 8, put a 9 engine in it and avoide that terrible ACD. Hahah Also, Welcome to the site!

 

I hope you find what you are looking for as much as I do. I want to get an Evo as soon as I get back to the states. The Evo has been my dream car since I was 14 (i'm 20 now). My fav would have to be an Evo IX in either RR or GG.

 

i like the evo 9 buttt i prefer the evo 8 because i want the 5 speed. and pluss i dont feel like dealing with ACD. i like the evo 9 front bumper better though. and mivec is cool but id rather have it without it because it seems like at times it could be too much of a hassle.

and i know insurance is expensive but im moving to south carolina and its cheaper down there. no inspections.
