Complete VIN Location? Buying New EVO Soon

Hi,
I'm buying new evo 8 soon and I want to check if all the VIN location has original VIN attached.
Can you guys please tell me all the locations?
So far I read

Engine and Tranny = lower driver side corner next to header
Front Fenders = Under the hood where lip where the hood closes

Please let me know on other location
Supposedly car is clean title wo any accident.

Thanks in advance.

one on the dash, and the doors, one on the trunk i believe. Check out the service manual, there's several of them all over the body.

all the VIN's are in easy-to-find places, you can easily see them all without knowing where they are just by doing a quick one-over of the car

there are stickers on the front bumper and fenders. also check the seams in the trunk and spare tire well area for anything funny. check the jack points for slash marks - these indicate the frame was straightened.

That is definitely something to be concerned about. What history report are you using? Carfax, Autocheck? The only vehicles you could have years of no data on older vehicles built over 10 years ago. Most of the reporting agencies only guarantee the info going back 10 years.

1. Check for VIN numbers: make sure it matches all the body panels. areas to look for VIN: bumper-front and rear, front fenders, trunk lid, front and rear doors as well as the engine and tranny VIN are etched to these mechanical parts.
You might get some other useful tips for your car search as well.

my vw that i bought 6 years ago had 3 years missin on its report. come to find out the car was repo'ed for non payment and sat in the banks storage for those 3 years before being sold. so missing info is not ALWAYS bad but try to dig to find out why its not there.
