Need Help, JDM VIN number question!

Hey everyone,

I have a JDM Evo 4, that has been imported legally, and registered in Canada. My insurance company just sent me a letter in the mail asking me to take a photo of my cars VIN number, and the car, to show 'that the serial number is correct' they put it. This may seem like a stupid question, but where is the VIN located on a JDM Evo 4?

Thanks in advance.

Did you do a google search? Did you look in door jams? Everywhere?

I've been around quite a few JDM cars and they usually have them in the regular places, on the dash, door jams and engine bay placards...

Engine bay placard and firewall, it should only be 11 digits.

So the VIN is the same as the Chassis number, ok good, that is the number that is on the registration. Thanks a lot guys. I figured it was right, but the letter I got kind of made me second guess myself.

Thanks again
