Hi. Just got my evo IX. Coming from the MINI's where most owners wave at one another. I was wondering if you guys do that too? I feel like MINI and Subaru have a community (family) aspect going. Is it that way here too? Seems like some replies on threads look like you guys don't always get along too well haha. Hope for some good input here.

 

I believe most do. Heck, I wave at anything that has been tastefully modified.

Being that the state I live in only has a handful of EVOs at most, they dont go unnoticed.

 

I think I get more waves than not from other EVO owners.

 

SWEET! I'm th only evo owner in town. But some venture through. So when I see them I'll wave lol.

 

I only wave if it's someone I know or someone who waved at me first.

live in dc metro. everyhere is too busy and too important.

Eh most of the guys in Fayetteville wave at each other. I seem to get waves from other Evo owners and DSM owners, as well as Scooby owners (As we're a pretty big family, considering Spec-Ops works on them all, as well as Force Fed).

 

I usually give the wave to other dsm owners!

 

I wave to any body with a nice car that has been modified the right way.

Where I live, there are maybe 20 Evos in a metro area of 1M. We wave to each other. OTOH, there are at least 20,000 Subarus. Probably more.

 

I wave to both Evo and Sti owners on the road that seem to know about the so called brotherhood.

I don't bother waving to STI guys but I've pulled over on occasion to if I've seen an Evo or STI with possible mechanical problems on the side of the road.

 

I typically wave or nod to other Evo drivers, especially if they wave at me first.
