Hi. Newbie here. Just bought an Evo 8. questions regarding mods for power....

Bolt-ons only, what do you suggest is the best w/o changing turbos? Who has the best parts?

Basically looking for engine management piggy backs, exhaust, intake, and whatever else that can produce the most horsepower.

Also does Vishnu XEDE add boost???

Keep in mind I only want bolt-ons.

And yes I've searched through this whole forum but now my head is spinning with too much info and I'm really confused now.

Any help will be appreciated!

P.S. I'm not just a Newbie here but a newbie to this whole 4cyl. turbocharged world so that's why I'm asking for your advise.

 

Usually exhaust is one of the best thing to do in any car.

 

Engine management (like the XEDE) & exhaust alone can really give you a good boost in performance. A gain of 50+ HP is easily achievable, plus you'll get better gas mileage and the car will have improved day-to-day driveability.

And, yes, the XEDE does control boost.
