Front bumper problems?

How goes it people? I have problems with my front bumper, and was wondering if any of you had this problem before and what was done to fix it. The problem that I have is that it squeaks real bad, and it sounds like I have singing birds inside my hood. I could grasp the bottom of the bumper and push it up and it seems real loose. I do know that the bottom skid plate or whatever its called was removed. So I'm thinking that's whey my bumper is so loose causing the noise. Does any one have any suggestions? Do aftermarket parts make you delete the skid plate?

Any pics of how far off it is? From the factory there is a little gap between the headlight and the bumper so it's normal. The squeak might be the tab that is on the bumper right below the headlight is where it connects to, mine was not pushed all the way on and gave the same symptoms you're describing.

Thanks for the reply i really appreciate it.
Yea there is a little gap bettween the bumper and headlight. If i could remember there is a clip on the driver side right underneath the headlight that was broken, but i could not do anything so i ended up putting a zip tight. I might have to take off the bumper and order that clip from mitsu. But is the bumper supposed to be that loose?

that gap looks a bit off, but it may be the angle. Can you take a pic of your entire front end?

Wow. That does not look normal to me. Gap is too wide. Could you take pictures little further? I am not sure if clips can fix this. Take a look at http://www.evomoto.com/tech_articles...h_article_id=8 and see if your bumper is missing some fastener or bolts.

The gap seems to be more on the drivers side and not on the passengers side.

Yea I dont have those on mine either, and there is no sign of there ever being a clip. I think that clip is just in the evo 9 front bumper. But ill look into that.

In my opinion, it could be ETS intercooler rubs against bumper grill or something but I could be wrong. What size intercooler r u running? I heard size over 4" requires bumper modification.
