new EVO owner - finally
new EVO owner - finally
I just got my silver EVO IX MR this month. This car actually has been in my family since 2006 when I convinced my aunt to buy the EVO MR over an STI to use as a weekend warrior track car. I was the lucky one who actually drove the car home from the dealer back in 06
with hopes of actually owning it sometime in the future. 5 years later after college and after getting a job I was able to purchase the car from my aunt and I am the new happy owner. The car was intended to be a weekend warrior but it only saw the track once or twice in it's life and has remained mostly in stock form it's whole life. It has been garaged every winter and she only has 39K on the OD! The only mod to the car is a harness bar. I am totally love driving the EVO and I am still getting used to a car with some actual power for once. moving from my DD an 02 n/a neon to the EVO is quite a different kick in the pants when you hit the gas

Welcome to the forum. You seem to really love the car, so I'll give you a single point of advice - don't screw it up. Think long and hard before you modify anything. Good luck.

Thanks for the friendly welcome guys!
All I had todo was show her the the top gear video and let Jermy Clarkson do the rest
. BTW I almost put your screen name on vanity plates :P.
I am brand new to forced induction so, I am very timid todo much with the car. The only thing I am contimplating is getting a rear swaybar but, she will stay stock for now.
