Looking to buy Evo 8
Hi everyone! I am currently looking to buy this BBY 2003 Evo 8. http://www.allcityautosale.com/Deale...5bcQBTNoMvw%3d
I saw the car in person and it looks to be modified to some extent. When i first started the car it sounds like it is cammed but the idle smooths out after some time.
The timing belt cover has a bolt missing, But when i push the timing cover as though the bolt is there it hits the timing belt.
Any one know whose car this belonged to? I believe the original owner lived on jamaica avenue in queens.
Also the clutch makes almost a sand noise when the car is in neutral with the clutch depressed. The clutch is also pretty heavy compared to most evos i have driven. I heard the twin discs make some noise at idle.
smells pig rich at idle as well. hmmm decisions decisions....
Thanks Everyone!
Gonna be wierd coming from the ls1 community to this one. although i still own my 2004 goat lol

No engine pics? It looks a little rough in the outside.....the door to fender gap on the passenger side looks tweaked, could be picture..lol....but it got decent miles....still a little high priced if you ask me....and you would be able to tell of it was cammed or not....unless your not used to the stock lope sound....take it out and drive the he'll out of it!!! That will tell you a lot
Also I think there is a sticky on buying an Evo in the newbie section! Good luck
