Newbi 2009 Lancer GTS

Hi everybody!

My name is Sebastien and I'm from Quebec, Canada. I just bought a 2009 Lancer GTS 5MT with the 2.4l engine. I love the car in stock form but I'm a freak of modifications, so I started a project. I will put an Evo X turbo on it. For now, I still in the process of buying the parts to complete the project.

Can't wait to install all that stuff.

Sebastien

Congrats ! But I would highly recommend a single scroll turbo .. Go with the ralliart turbo.

The 4b12 n/a is an open deck block. So you are limited to 10 psi NOTHING OVER ! You won't even come close to using the Evos turbo to its full potential. Save your money and go with the RA turbo its a very solid and moderately safe turbo for a gts if tuned correctly + the stock wastegate will work well . But there are still some risks. PM if you have any other questions. =D

I agree. But stronger internals would allow you to do more boost. I'm currently building a turbo Gts 2.4 as well.

I prefer going with the Evo just in case I want to change internals. There is not a big difference in cost between both of them.

Good luck with your project and maybe we can help each other?

BTW, where are you from in Canada?
