Hey. This question may have been asked before and I tried searching but came up short (only found results for USDM Evos). My question is: Will an Evo IX cat-back fit on an Evo VII. My Evo VII is JDM (I live in Japan) and there was some indecision on whether the pipe would clear the rear diff... I never found a straight answer so I will try asking here. The reason I am asking is because I have a chance to pick up a IX cat-back for a steal but I'm not sure if I want to if there wont be any clearance around the rear diff. if it is a usdm ix exhaust the only problem i see with it is that it would stick out too far from your jdm rear bumper. rear diff shouldnt be a problem, maybe someone else will chime in.

 

What is the purpose for this?

 

Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm not trying to put a factory IX on my VII...its a 3" Kakimoto exhaust... but fitted for a IX.
