Howdy all, I'm just trying to reach my goal of 350whp on an evo 8 using weak 91 california pump gas. I'm mainly wondering if its at all possible using the fp 71hta as I haven't really found any real good info on this turbo probably because of how new it is. As of right now all I have is a tbe w test pipe, 3.5" fmic, licp, hks intake, and mbc.

Future mods:
Gsc 1 or gsc 2 cams (haven't decided)
255 pump
850cc injectors
FP HTA71
Megan O2 dump
And tune

Don't care to use E85 and would rather stay on pump because the car is used as a dd. Thanks ya!

 

If you are shooting for dynojet type numbers at the wheel you should have no problem meeting that power goal. I have seen an FP Red BB produce 350 whp on a Dyno Dynamics dyno (aka heartbreaker) on a built 2.0 motor and 91 gas.

 

I'm getting 350 whp (dynojet) on the stock turbo and 91 octane, and there are many others doing the same, so you shouldn't have any problem reaching that with a bigger than stock turbo.

 

Do I have a good idea as far as the mods go? Ill probably end up adding a ported stock manifold
